STOCKED ("we," "us") operates the STOCKED mobile app and supply-house portal, which help tradespeople order parts from local supply houses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions: stockedparts@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email, password (stored securely by our authentication provider), and profile details such as your name, trade, and business name when you create an account.
- Location — the delivery and pickup area you set, used to show nearby supply houses and route your orders.
- Orders and activity — the parts, job types, carts, and orders you create, and the store you choose for pickup.
- Device and diagnostic data — basic technical information (device type, app version, and crash/diagnostic data) used to keep the app working reliably.
We do not collect payment card details from tradespeople in the app — tradespeople do not pay inside STOCKED.
How we use your information
- To provide the app: show the right catalog, build carts, and send your orders to the supply house you select.
- To create and secure your account.
- To improve the app and fix problems.
- To contact you about your orders or account.
How we share your information
- Supply houses — when you place an order, we share the order details (parts, quantities, your name, and pickup information) with the supply house you selected so they can fulfill it.
- Service providers — companies that help us run the app, including our cloud database and authentication provider (Supabase) and our hosting provider (Vercel). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the app, then delete or anonymize it, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including database-level access controls, to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- You can review or update your account information in the app.
- You can request that we delete your account and associated data by emailing stockedparts@gmail.com.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access or delete your data.
Children
STOCKED is a professional tool intended for people 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date; significant changes will be communicated in the app.
